Operatig Principle
In a figurative sense, our FR product acts in a similar way to a catalyst: it is not consumed, but its presence influences the behaviour of the limescale-forming minerals contained in the water.
This reduces the tendency of limescale to adhere to surfaces. The mineral components contained in the water can therefore remain transportable and be carried through and flushed out of the installation by the water flow.
Existing limescale deposits may also gradually loosen during operation and be carried away by the flowing water. The actual result depends on factors including water composition, the condition of the installation, operating conditions and the duration of use.
The effectiveness and technical quality of the FR product have been examined and confirmed through tests and practical applications in installations of different sizes.

Note: The efficiency of the appliances that heat the water is reduced by the build-up of limescale.
The efficiency of lime as an insulator is already reduced by 25 % with a lime deposit of approx. 2 mm and by 30 % with a lime deposit of 4 mm.
